Interlibrary Loans (ILLO)

What is an interlibrary loan?
Can't find the book you are looking for?  Let us know and we will try to borrow it from another library in Ontario.

How does it work?
Any North Perth Public Library cardholder is eligible to request a book via interlibrary loan.  Staff will search for the book and, if we can find a library that has it in their lending collection, will submit a request on your behalf.  ILLO items take a little bit longer to arrive at our library than books coming from NPPL branches, sometimes as long as 4-6 weeks.  Staff will contact you when the book arrives.

Are you a frequent ILLO user?
Ask staff about signing up for your own zPortal account.  This will allow you to log-in, search and request books directly from the interlibrary loan database for Ontario.
