Listowell Memorial Hospital

LMH is a 78 bed accredited facility. LMH offers acute care facilities for treatment of illnesses or injuries on inpatient and outpatient basis. Emergency care and ambulance services are available at all times.

Services

To date, 25 chronic beds, 26 acute care beds, and several outpatient programs. Services provided are patient activation, advance directives, speech pathology, physiotherapy, diabetes/nutritional counseling, prenatal classes, breast feeding clinics, accredited mammography unit, Breast Health Centre (first of its kind in SW Ontario), a formal telephone triage system developed collaboratively between medicine and nursing, specialty clinics (obstetrics, gynecology, internal medicine, surgical internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, orthopedics, gastroenterology and endocrinology). The hospital is also a training site for medical students interested in rural medicine.
