Recreational/Fitness and Cultural Facilities

The local Parks and Recreation Departments operate a number of public parks, two swimming pools and three arena complexes that offer an abundant number and variety of programs.

The world-renowned Stratford Shakespearean Festival, located in the City of Stratford is a major cultural attraction. North Perth has its own theatre, Theatre 311. Theatre 311 displays the local talent in the area. Other local theatres include the Drayton Theatre and the Blyth Festival Theatre; both located within a twenty-five mile drive of the Municipality of North Perth. Kitchener’s Centre in the Square is also another widely respected cultural facility.

Local library facilities are exceptional and offer something of interest to everyone.

The Listowel Golf and Country Club is described as one of the finest 27-hole courses in Southwestern Ontario. It offers very competitive membership rates as well as a very modern clubhouse facility.

The North Perth Trails system offers accessible trails for easy to moderate hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing - an excellent way to keep fit and enjoy the outdoors!
