Accounts PayableFinance staff handle all disbursements/payments on behalf of the municipality. This would include payment of invoices for goods and services received, prepayments, municipal contributions, petty cash, transfers, leases and recurring payments and refunds. Other related duties and responsibilities of Accounts Payable include management of the Goods & Services Tax (GST) function, and the provision of advice to the staff on issues related to GST, PST (Provincial Sales Tax), non-resident taxes, and other tax-related issues.
