User Pay System

Those who produce the least waste pay the least. Only standard size garbage bags, cans or bundles weighing no more than 45lbs (20 kg) and/or 30 gallons bearing a "bag tag" will be collected.

Wrap the tag around the neck of the garbage bag and stick the two glued surfaces together to ensure that it will not come off. If garbage cans or bundles are used, the tag should be attached securely to the top piece of garbage in the can or on the bundle.

NEWSPAPERS & INSERTS, MAGAZINES & PHONE BOOKS

• Please bag together

PLASTIC BAGS

• Please remove cash register tapes
• Stuff into one bag

BOXBOARD & FINE PAPER

• Please remove all wrap, spouts & liners
• Flatten & place inside another box
• Place fine paper in same box

CORRUGATED CARDBOARD

• Please flatten if larger than 3' X 3' X 3'

Inside your Blue Box

GLASS BOTTLES & JARS

• Please rinse
• Place metal lids in Blue Box

ALUMINUM & STEEL BEVERAGE & FOOD CONTAINERS

• Please rinse
• Place lids inside cans & pinch to trap the lid inside

RIGID PLASTICS

• Clean screw top plastic containers with triangular symbols 1 or 2 or 4 marked on the bottom
• Please remove caps
• Note: Unfortunately, plastics not numbered 1,2 or 4 are simply thrown with regular garbage.

WIDE MOUTH TUBS

• Clean plastic tubs with triangular symbols 1 through 7

ALUMINUM FOIL & FOIL WRAP

• Please rinse

AEROSOL & PAINT CANS

• Ensure that the cans are EMPTY & lids removed
• Place metal lids loose in the blue box
