Public Meeting Considering an Application for Zoning By-law Amendment
TAKE NOTICE a statutory public meeting is scheduled for August 8, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will be held in-person and remotely to discuss a proposed Amendment to the North Perth Zoning By-law affecting property located at Lot 6, Concession 25, Elma Ward, Municipality of North Perth (Application # Z13-2022). Civic Address: 5527 Line 78.
This remote public meeting is intended to replace an in-person statutory public meeting and to meet the requirements of the Ontario Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.
Purpose and Effect: The proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law is a requirement of a related surplus farm dwelling severance approved by the County of Perth Land Division Committee (B12/22). The amendment will keep the lands within the Agriculture (A) Zone, with site-specific provisions prohibiting any dwelling or mobile home from establishing on the retained farmland and will limit uses on the severed lot to one (1) single-detached dwelling and accessory uses, building and structures as well as a reduction of lot frontage for the severed lot from 30 m to 17 m.
