Notice of Public Committee of Adjustment Hearing - MV 4-2026

Public input on applications is invited.  Pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act, the Committee of Adjustment for the Municipality of North Perth invites you to consider applications for minor variance and/or to forward written comments prior to the hearing.

RE: AN APPLICATION BY:       Synergy Turkey Inc.
LOCATION OF PROPERTY:     Lot 49, Concession 1, Wallace Ward, Municipality of North Perth (6728 Line 86)

PURPOSE OF APPLICATION: The subject application is proposing relief from Section 6.4.1 of the North Perth Zoning By-law to reduce the minimum required setback for Minimum Distance Separation II (MDS II) for a Type A land use from 234 m (768 ft) to 190 m (622 ft) and to the nearest road allowance from the required 47 m (154 ft) to 31 m (103 ft) to facilitate the construction of four (4) 2,676 m² turkey barns, one (1) 1,673 m² brooder barn and an open manure storage.

PUBLIC HEARING: You are entitled to participate in this public hearing to express your views about this application or you may be represented by counsel for that purpose.  If you are aware of any person interested in or affected by this application who has not received a copy of this notice you are requested to inform that person of this hearing. 

If a person or public body does not participate in this public hearing to the North Perth Committee of Adjustment before the Decision is made, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the North Perth Committee of Adjustment to the Ontario Land Tribunal.

FAILURE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE HEARING If you do not participate in this public hearing it may proceed in your absence and, except as otherwise provided in The Planning Act, you will not be entitled to any further notice in the proceedings.

NOTICE OF DECISION A copy of the decision of the Committee will be sent to the applicant and to each person who participated in this public hearing or by counsel at the hearing and who has filed with the Secretary a written request for notice of the decision.
