Newcomers and Settlement Services

Newcomer settlement service is funded by the federal government through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. Service in Perth County and Huron County is provided by the YMCA. Settlement advisors provide information on community resources and support newcomers to Canada as they settle. This is a free service.

To make an appointment with the Perth County Settlement Worker, Lily Yin, please call 548-255-1239 or email lily.yin@ytr.ymca.ca. Lily is the worker for North Perth.

The North Perth Public Library can also help you access the settlement services for newcomers. For more information, see the Perth County Settlement Services page.
