Community Programs, Special Events and Workshops

Floral Arrangements $95.00

Are you a newcomer in the world of flower design? Do you want to take your first steps into creating beautiful arrangements? Join our workshop with Amanda from 81 Petals to learn how to create a beautiful and approachable vase arrangement that is sure to help you hone your floral arranging skills!

Cooking Class: FREE

Ages 12-14: Enjoy learning about food preparation, cooking/baking and a chance to enjoy the final product as a meal!

This program is for participants 16yrs+ or accompanied by parent/guardian.

Unique games are provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own games.

Gr. 7 & 8 Girls Fitness & Empowerment: This program will allow young girls to explore different avenues of physical fitness and well being!

By participating in this program; they will experience healthy living tips, goal setting, physical activity, support and learn that you can be “feminine” and still be physically active.

This program does not currently have a date scheduled. Please watch social media for future date. 

Thanks to all participants for a great program!  We look forward to the Fall 2024 return!

About the Program:

Lego Days that comprises of several building activities including:

  • Free building challenges
  • Set building
  • Lego Robotics (WeDo2.0)

There will be over 500 pounds of bricks on hand as well as over 200 Lego sets.

The main instructor; Jazz is a school teacher based in North Bay. Jazz has been running these camps all over Ontario for the past seven years.!

Paddyfest Pickleball Tournament: Wed. February 28, 2024

Come out with a team of two and show off your skills! Member of team must be 16yrs+ to play. Tournament will run 6-9pm at North Perth Westfield school.

Paddyfest Mini Sticks Tournament: Tues. March 12, 2024

Time to get your team of four ready for the annual Paddyfest Mini Stick Tournament! 

To participate in this tournament each member of your team must follow the below rules: 

  • Only 4 players per team (1 goalie & 3 out players).  If you are missing a player, you are allowed to pick up another player as long as the player picked up is the same age or younger than the team age
  • Gloves, Knee pads and a CSA approved helmet with face mask must be worn.  No goalie stuff except goalies can use plastic goalie mini sticks no more than 20”
  • Plastic mini sticks (no more than 20”).  No composite sticks
  • Teams must wear co-ordinating t-shirts or jerseys
  • Must have an adult oversee your team and must stay at the church for the remainder of the day with the team
