Call to Artists: Public Art Commission in North Perth

The Municipality of North Perth is pleased to announce the launch of its first Public Art Call to Artists as part of the implementation of the North Perth Public Art Implementation Plan.

In partnership with STEPS Public Art, the Municipality is inviting professional Canadian artists and artist teams to submit their qualifications for the opportunity to design and create two permanent public artworks to be installed in the communities of Monkton and Gowanstown.

These public art installations will celebrate the unique character of North Perth's rural communities while creating welcoming public spaces that encourage interaction, connection, and community pride. Preference will be given to applicants who live in Ontario or have a connection to Ontario or the North Perth community.

Applications are open until Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (ET).
