Council Meeting Highlights – July 20, 2026

• Council supported the Redline Amendment proposing revisions to the approved commercial and industrial plan of subdivision owned by the Municipality of North Perth.
• Council awarded the Municipality of North Perth’s request for tender for the Nichol Park Construction to 39 Seven Inc. of Guelph.
• Council awarded the Municipality of North Perth’s request for tender for the North Perth Structure L1 and L5 Rehabilitation to McLean Taylor Construction Limited of St. Mary’s.
• Council approved the selling of the Wallace History Books at the Municipal Office for a two-year term.
• Council supported the Municipal Finance Officer’s Association of Ontario’s request to the Province of Ontario to make the enhanced Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF) permanent beyond 2026.

The next regular Council meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Municipality of North Perth Council Chambers and livestreamed to YouTube.

Meeting Information

The Municipality of North Perth Council meets the first and third Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated. 

Meetings are livestreamed on the Municipality’s YouTube channel and recordings will be available for viewing following each Council meeting. 

Council agendas and previous meeting minutes are posted on the Thursday prior to the Council Meeting and are available on the Municipality’s website or by contacting Legislative Services Staff at clerks@northperth.ca.
