The Council of the Municipality of North Perth met on Monday, May 25, 2026, at the North Perth Council Chambers (330 Wallace Ave N, Listowel) and livestreamed to YouTube.

Council Meeting Highlights – May 25, 2026

• Council directed staff to install temporary snow fence, signage, and ball diamond netting at the Wallace Optimist Park and to investigate a more permanent solution.
• Council directed staff to explore options for the future of the Wallace Optimist Park through the updated Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
• The 2026 Asset Management Program Review was received.
• Council received the draft Delegation of Authority By-law for review; staff will bring back a final version for consideration at a future meeting.
• The Kite Fighting By-law was passed, which prohibits kite fighting on private and public property.

The next regular Council meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Municipality of North Perth Council Chambers and livestreamed to YouTube.

Meeting Information

The Municipality of North Perth Council meets the first and third Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated. 

Meetings are livestreamed on the Municipality’s YouTube channel and recordings will be available for viewing following each Council meeting. 

Council agendas and previous meeting minutes are posted on the Thursday prior to the Council Meeting and are available on the Municipality’s website or by contacting Legislative Services Staff at clerks@northperth.ca.
