Mayor’s Roundtable to Focus on Food Insecurity in North Perth

North Perth, June 5, 2026 – Mayor Kasenberg is inviting local organizations, service providers, volunteers, and community leaders to participate in a Mayor’s Roundtable Discussion on Food Insecurity on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex Community Room in Listowel.

The roundtable will bring together community partners to share information about current efforts, identify challenges and barriers, explore opportunities for collaboration, and discuss actions that can help strengthen food security across North Perth.

Food insecurity continues to impact individuals and families throughout the community. By bringing together those who provide programs and supports, as well as those with knowledge and lived experience, hoping to foster meaningful discussion and identify ways to work together toward solutions.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Share knowledge about existing programs and services;
• Identify gaps and challenges within the community;
• Explore opportunities for collaboration; and
• Discuss priorities and next steps to support food security.

Community members and organizations involved in food security initiatives or support services are encouraged to attend.
