NEDL Phase 2 - Construction of Wallace Industrial ROW, Fairlane Road, Wallace Avenue North Roundabout and Site Servicing of the North East Development Lands

The Municipality of North Perth has contracted GEI Consultant Inc., of Listowel, to undertake the design and contract administration for this project, commencing in the spring of 2026 with completion anticipated in late 2027. This project includes the following:

• Construction of a new Sewage Pumping Station (SPS)
• Reconstruction of Fairlane Road from the new SPS to the dead-end just north of Wallace Industrial ROW
• Reconstruction of Wallace Industrial ROW
• Construction of a new roundabout located on Wallace Avenue North
• Construction of a new road between Wallace Avenue North and Fairlane Road
• The site servicing and construction of new roads within the North East Development Lands

This work is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2026. It is anticipated that the project will include the installation of critical infrastructure (sanitary sewers, watermain and stormwater management systems), full roadway reconstruction with curb and gutter, installation of sidewalks where appropriate and new tree plantings.

At this time, we welcome any resident comments and feedback on the proposed project. A Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held at the North Perth Municipal Office, 330 Wallace Avenue North on Wednesday, January 14th from 12-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. For up-to-date information on this and other planned or ongoing construction projects in North Perth, please visit the Municipality’s website under Construction and Road Closures.
