Please review By-law 37-2022 prior to lighting a fire. Those who are found in non-compliance with the by-law will be invoiced for fire department response.

Burn permits

To obtain a burn permit, please complete the application form available through the Request Portal. These permits are for rural properties only and require 24 hours notice. A burn permit is not required for a small campfire. 

All burn requests must be submitted no later than by Thursday at 3pm if wanting to burn on the weekend. 

Fireworks By-law

We regulate the sale and use of fireworks through By-law 39-2011.
