Project Status: In Progress

Oosterbaan Strategy, in partnership with tante consulting inc. and The New Business, was awarded the RFP for Consulting Services for Corporate Strategic Plans in June 2026. This project will include the development of the 2027-2030 North Perth Corporate Strategic Plan, the completion of a Corporate Branding Exercise, and development of the Municipality’s first Economic Development Strategic Plan. Stakeholder and public engagement opportunities on the various plans are expected to commence in mid-to-late summer.

Project Status: Complete

The findings of the Transit Needs Assessment, prepared by Dillon Consulting, were presented to North Perth Council at the February 9, 2026 North Perth Council Meeting. Council directed staff to bring forward future implementation requirements and financial implications through the 2027 budget process.

The Transit Needs Assessment identifies a series of service directions and actions intended to address both immediate and longer-term transit needs within North Perth. Staff are working in partnership with neighbouring municipalities to advance next steps identified in the study. Project Status: Complete

Tate Economic Research (TR) was awarded the Retail Market Demand Study RFP in August 2025. TR presented the study findings to North Perth Council at the January 26, 2026 North Perth Council Meeting. Staff will consider the findings and recommendations for implementation during future municipal budget cycles. Project Status: Ongoing

Implementation of the North Perth Public Art Plan continues to progress. North Perth has retained STEPS Public Art to support the development and administration of the first artist calls for the two public art installation locations approved by the North Perth Economic Development Advisory Committee (NPEDAC). It is anticipated that the Call to Artists will be issued in July/August 2026.
