TAKE NOTICE an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment has been received affecting the property described above. The application was deemed complete on April 29, 2026 pursuant to Section 34 (10.4) of the Planning Act in accordance with the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. O. Reg. 545/06 s. 5
Purpose and Effect: The application for zone change proposes to rezone the subject lands from Special Institutional Zone (IN-4) to Special Residential Zone Five (R5-31) to permit a 3 storey, Residential Care Facility with a total of 15 residential units. The site-specific zoning will reduce the total number of parking spaces from 26 (inclusive of visitor and accessible) to 6 and 1 accessible space where 2 accessible spaces would be required based on the 26-space requirement. The application also proposes to reduce the minimum interior side yard width from 6 m to 2.5 m and the minimum rear yard depth from 6 m to 5 m. The zone change will also include a definition for a Residential Care Facility.

North Perth, April 14, 2026 – The Municipality of North Perth is advising residents that the 2026 Budget Amendment has been officially adopted following the completion of the Strong Mayor Powers legislative process under the Municipal Act, 2001.
The amendment updates the 2026 Budget to reflect finalized cost information received after the original budget approval in December 2025. These updates primarily relate to externally controlled services, including the Ontario Provincial Police contract and the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority levy.
