  • NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMITTEE OF ADJUSTMENT HEARING

    Public input on applications is invited.  Pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act (1990), the Committee of Adjustment for the Municipality of North Perth invites you to consider applications for minor variance and/or to forward written comments prior to the hearing.

    PURPOSE OF APPLICATION: The subject application is requesting relief from Section 12.2.6 of the North Perth Zoning By-law to reduce the minimum rear yard depth requirement from 10.5 m to 7.28 m and from Section 12.2.9 to reduce the minimum requirement for landscaped open space from 35% of the lot area to 31%. The requested relief is required to satisfy a condition of Consent Approval B12-24.

    PURPOSE OF APPLICATION: The subject application is requesting relief from Section 7.26 of the North Perth Zoning By-law to reduce the minimum requirement for rear yard depth from 7.5 m (25 ft) to 5.7 m (18.7 ft) to permit the construction of a covered deck at the rear of the existing dwelling. 

     

  • NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING FOR A PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT

    TAKE NOTICE a statutory public meeting is taking place to discuss a proposed Amendment Zoning By-law affecting the property described above. Pursuant to Section 34 (10.4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, the application was deemed complete on August 23, 2024.  This Notice is being provided in accordance with the Planning Act (1990) and Ontario Regulation 545/06.

    Purpose and Effect: The subject application is being proposed to satisfy a condition of Consent File B38-24. The application proposes to rezone the severed lot from Agriculture Zone (A) to Special Agriculture Zone (A-1) to permit a non-farm residential dwelling and associated accessory uses, buildings and structures. 

    In addition, the application proposes to rezone the retained lands from Agriculture Zone (A) to Special Agriculture Zone (A-62) to prohibit any new permanent residential dwellings on the agricultural lands. 

  • NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING FOR A PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT

    TAKE NOTICE a statutory public meeting is taking place to discuss a proposed Amendment Zoning By-law affecting the property described above. Pursuant to Section 34 (10.4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, the application was deemed complete on August 2, 2024. This Notice is being provided in accordance with the Planning Act (1990) and Ontario Regulation 545/06.

    Purpose and Effect: The subject application is being proposed to satisfy a condition of approval for Consent File B15/24. The severed lot is to be rezoned from Agriculture Zone to Special Agriculture Zone (A-1) to permit a non-farm residential dwelling and associated accessory uses, buildings and structures. 

    The retained lands will be rezoned from Agriculture Zone (A) to Special Agriculture Zone (A-62) to prohibit any new permanent residential dwellings. 

  • NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING FOR A PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT

    TAKE NOTICE a statutory public meeting is taking place to discuss a proposed Amendment Zoning By-law affecting the property described above. Pursuant to Section 34 (10.4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, the application was deemed complete on June 5, 2023.  This Notice is being provided in accordance with the Planning Act (1990) and Ontario Regulation 545/06.

    Purpose and Effect: The property owner wishes to convert the existing institutional building on site to a two-bedroom home. To facilitate this change, a zoning by-law amendment has been requested to change the subject lands from the Institutional (I) zone to the Hamlet/Village Residential (HVR) zone. Site-specific provisions will be required to address a reduction in lot area from 1850 m2 to 620 m2 and a reduction in lot frontage from 24 m to 11.3 m as well as to recognize reduced front and side yard setbacks for the existing building. 

  • NOTICE OF THE PASSING OF A ZONING BY-LAW BY THE MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH

    TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Municipality of North Perth passed By-law No. 79-2024 on the 9th day of September, 2024, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

    AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal in respect of the By-law by filing with the Clerk of the Municipality of North Perth not later than the 3rd day of October, 2024, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection and accompanied by the proper fee.

  • TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of North Perth passed Development Charge By-law No. 53-2024 on the 26th day of August, 2024, under Section 2 of the Development Charges Act, 1997.

    AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal under Section 14 of the Act, in respect of the Development Charges By-laws, by filing with the Clerk of the Municipality of North Perth on or before the 7th of October, 2024, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons supporting the objection. Appeals filed with the Office of the Clerk, 330 Wallace Ave. N., Listowel ON, N4W 1L3 will be accepted on or before the 7th of October 2024. The appellant is advised to contact the Ontario Land Tribunal to access required forms and applicable Provincial fees.

    TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of North Perth passed By-law No. 52-2024, an Amendment to Development Charges By-law 78-2019, on the 26th day of August, 2024, under Section 19 of the Development Charges Act, 1997.

    AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal under Section 19 of the Act, in respect of the Amendments to Development Charges By-laws, by filing with the Clerk of the Municipality of North Perth on or before the 7th of October, 2024, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons supporting the objection.
