Listowel Business Improvement Area |

Property Standards Committee |
The Property Standards Committee hears appeals against “orders” issued by the Municipality under the Municipality's Property Standards By-law. Once an owner has been served with an “order to comply” made under subsection 15.2(2) of the Building Code Act, an owner who does not agree with the terms or conditions of the order may appeal to the Committee within 14 days after being served the order. According to section15.3(3) of the Building Code Act, the Property Standards Committee has the power to:

Fence Viewers/Livestock Valuers Committee |
North Perth Council appoints Fence Viewers to enforce the Line Fences Act. The Line Fences Act provides a procedure for resolution of line fence disputes between the owners of adjoining properties. Line fences are fences that mark the boundary between properties; they are often referred to as boundary or division fences. This Act applies to both residential and non-residential fences. The Municipal Livestock Valuers are responsible for completing a full investigation within three (3) days of receiving notification from the Clerk of a livestock loss attributed to wildlife. |
Pound Keepers |
